Presentation Abstract: Jennifer Callahan

US Office of Risk Assessment and Cost Benefit Analysis

The Office of Risk Assessment and Cost Benefit Analysis (ORACBA) was established by the Federal Crop Insurance Reform and Department of Agriculture Reorganization Act of 1994. ORACBA's role is to ensure that USDA's economically significant regulations that affect human health, safety, or the environment are based on sound scientific, technical, and economic analysis.

Although ORACBA's current web page is very simple, we are now developing a new site to provide risk analysis professionals with the most up-to-date resources, education and information available. The site will include ORACBA background information, the mission statement, a staff directory and a comprehensive SRA review. The other features within the site will include news, a calendar, risk forums, partnerships, grants and fellowships, meetings and conferences, educational opportunities, a risk assessment library, databases and links.
