Overview

The FDA Biological Soil Amendments of Animal Origin (BSAAO)-Produce Risk Assessment Output Explorer is an interactive tool complementing the peer reviewed FDA report titled "Risk Assessment of Foodborne Illness Associated with Pathogens from Produce Grown in Fields Amended with Untreated Biological Soil Amendments of Animal Origin (BSAAO)", herein referred to as the FDA BSAAO-Produce Risk Assessment Report, and available at: FDA web site.

The FDA BSAAO-Produce Risk Assessment Output Explorer is provided to allow users to interactively explore and compare predictions from various model scenarios evaluated with a probabilistic quantitative risk assessment model and described in the FDA BSAAO-Produce Risk Assessment Report. All results presented in this tool are included in the FDA BSAAO-Produce Risk Assessment Report Part 1 and Part 2.

Users should use this tool in conjunction with the FDA BSAAO-Produce Risk Assessment Report, which describes and discusses in detail methods, results, limitations and conclusions.
